How can I use Pro Engineer pre-wildfire mouse controls with wildfire 2.0?
I can't stand using the Wildfire mouse controls. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a pre-wildfire mouse scheme (proe 2001) with wildfire 2.0?How can I use Pro Engineer pre-wildfire mouse controls with wildfire 2.0?
Hi Sean,
Like yourself, I also found the new Wildfire mouse controls a pain, they do take a bit of getting used to, but it's well worth sticking with it. It will become second nature in no time.
Another reason is that the pre WF mouse controls will conflict with the new selection methods used in WF

I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time with it.
I've looked in the PTC Knowlegebase, TPI-117517 explains the reasons for the changes, but there doesn't seem to be any reference to an option to revert to the Pre WF controls.
Do you work with the spin center turned off?, I find it easier this way as it allows you to rotate the model about the geometry you have selected.
I used to use a standard 3 button logitech pilot mouse and was very happy with it. I was relictant to move to a wheel mouse, but after having to use a laptop with a wheel mouse for about a week, I didn't want to go back to a non-wheel mouse.
You could look at 3D controlers.
http://www.3dconnexion.com/
I was given a free Space Navigator at the PTCWorld Event.
I found it pretty useless as it only had 2 additional buttons so I had to keep moving my hand to the keyboard to press CRTL %26amp; shift. Now its a paperweight. The higher end models may be better as they have more buttons to use but I've not tried one.
If you haven't already, you could try posting your question on the PTCuser froums which are quite active.

It looks like the new mouse controls are here to stay as they are being carried forward into WF3 %26amp; 4 so you may just have to get used to them.

Who is hiring dynamics and controls engineers?
I have completed the requirements for a master's degree in mechanical engineering! My area of concentration was in dynamics and controls. I have done simulation work in tethered satellites, used computer vision to experimentally determine the dynamics of a bouncing ball, and I had an internship to develop an apparatus which could test shock absorbers in the seats of aircraft!
I would like to get a job in the dynamics and controls area but the jobs in this area seem to be pretty scarce! I have tried company websites, common job sites like monster and hotjobs, and networking and have pretty much exhausted these resources. Your input is greatly appreciated!Who is hiring dynamics and controls engineers?

My first job as a controls engineer. How do experience engineers capture I/O's for devices in a system?
I am trying to capture I/O's for devices like valves, pumps with and without vfd, motors with overload...things like that.
I also notice on previous projects from other engineers, the I/O's they had captured for pumps had 2in/out and analog 1in/out. I dont understand really why there would be 2 in/out for a pump. I know that an analog in/out would mean that they have something controlling the motor through a VFD.
So, if anyone can tell me how many I/O's for each devices I had mentioned above and describe the functional of each I/O, I would appreciate it.
Oh, and the system I'm working on is a CIP system (clean in place syst) and what the pump does it pumps water from a supply tank and is controlled by a VFD. Another pump is a return pump with out a VFD. We also have a motor in the system, that is an agitator triggered through a limit switch. So what I'm really looking for are the rule of thumb from experienced engineers when they try to capture I/O's of a system.
if youMy first job as a controls engineer. How do experience engineers capture I/O's for devices in a system?
I’m not sure what you mean by “capture I/O's for devices”
But it sounds like you are trying to write a program to control the CIP.
It sounds like the control you are working with is digital I/O and Analog.
I assume none of the equipment is smart, devicenet, Profibus, etc.
AB Plus freq drives (the Power Flex series are cheaper) require a start and stop command (2 digital outs)
Or you can jumper the 110 control power to the start terminal and it will always be in run mode, open the stop command to stop the drive.
One digital in for a limit switch to tell you if someone turned off the disconnect.
If you want the drive to send back some feed back, at speed, fault, running, etc
You will need 1 digital in for each; at min you would want a fault bit.
To control speed remotely will require an analog out (4-20 ma, 0-10V, etc)
You can send a zero speed command to stop the drive but than the drive will display a zero speed instead of stopped.
I don’t know why you would want to know the speed of the pump on a cleaning system.
I assume you would want to control pressure or flow rate because you are using a VFD drive. So you would need one digital analog in from a pressure transmitter or flow meter.
Knowing your inputted setpoint pressure or flow and the actual pressure or flow from the transmitter you would have a PID loop control the speed of the pump (VFD).
So to control the pump at this point you would need a min of 2 digital outs, 2 digital ins
One analog in and one analog out.
For the agitator, this is probably just a contactor. One digital out to start it. One digital in on the aux contacts to let you know the contactor actually pulled in. And again one digital in to tell you if someone turned off the disconnect. You would be amazed how many time things will not start because some threw the disconnect to work on it and forgot to turn it back on. If this is controled with a float to start and stop, than you will need another digital in.
Agitator one digital out, 3 digital in.
Same would go for the return pump, assuming float control so you don’t pump the tank empty.
Now if you are inquiring about capturing the data from the process, temperature, pressure, flows, ph, ect. That is another ball of wax. Omega has a ton of stuff while would require at least one analog in for each device. We use Allen-Brady PLC’s everything from micro logic to C-logic. For data capture, we use Rs-View to change settings (control varibles) and create the data logs for alarms and keystrokes. Cature data with RSSQL.
The CIP unit you mentioned looks kinda like a PLC controlled Pressure washer, I assume you want to record pressure, temp and cycle times.
I hope this is what you were inquiring, if not, I tried.
Best regards,
TheLightsAreOnButMy first job as a controls engineer. How do experience engineers capture I/O's for devices in a system?
I suggest you contact someone who supplies data collection systems. Ask them for information and price for a system to collect data from your equipment. Omega Engineering provides a wide variety of sensors including thermocouples, encoders, etc. They also have excellent technical support available over the phone. You could also contact companies that supply PLC (Programable Logic Controllers). PLCs take input from digital and a wide variety of analog signals and can transmit digital and anolog signals back out to control devices. Some of the PLC suppliers are Fanuc, Ge, Allen-Bradley.
Experienced engineers either learn it themselves (the hard way) or they learn who to call to get expert advice. If you have a Facilities group or a Maintenance Engineering function, you might find an expert near at hand.
good luck

Project Controls Engineer Vs. Project Controls Analyst.?
I work in the oil %26amp; gas and I wana progress my career further. So while searching for jobs, I found that in US/Canada the titles most advertised are Project Controls Analyst whereas, in UK I come accross a lot of Project Controls Engineer vacancies. (I know theres a lot of misuse of the word 'Engineer' in the UK). I was wondering if its just similar jobs with different titles or is the nature of work different in both? I'm a non-engineering graduate.Project Controls Engineer Vs. Project Controls Analyst.?
Not only can you not tell if the two positions are the same or similar, you can't be sure what the work entails. Project controls could refer to instrumentation or to cost, quality or schedule controls. You need to job description to fully understand the scope of the title.

ENGINEERS/PLUMBERS: THINKING HATS ON: What OTHER WAYS are there to CONTROL WATER LEVEL and WHY?
Okay, I need real, answers, if you can't think of a real answer just please star the question.
I need a way to control the level of water going into a system.
An example would be a toilet system, if you have ever noticed and opened up the lid of a toilet, to see how the flush mechanism works then it is a baloon with a lever system which controls the flow of water and therefore controls the level of water also.
So APART from the toilet can you think of
(a) any other system which controls the water level ? (e.g. toilet)
(b) the method of HOW it controls the water level ? (e.g. baloon and lever)
Btw - it has to be something which I can do PRACTICALLY and CHEAPLY.
ALL i have to do is get a PRACTICAL way of doing thisENGINEERS/PLUMBERS: THINKING HATS ON: What OTHER WAYS are there to CONTROL WATER LEVEL and WHY?
Sluices, Dams, Floodgates, Lock Gates, Stopcocks...... and they're BALLCOCKS not baloons wrongly spelt...... and how many times do you need to ask it - not once in the correct section....

Why do over 700 architectural and engineering think the WTCs came down in controlled demolition?
1.
Destruction proceeds through the path of greatest resistance at nearly free-fall acceleration
2.
Improbable symmetry of debris distribution
3.
Extremely rapid onset of destruction
4.
Over 100 first responders reported explosions and flashes
5.
Multi-ton steel sections ejected laterally 600 ft at 60 mph

Mid-air pulverization of 90,000 tons of concrete %26amp; metal decking
7.
Massive volume of expanding pyroclastic-like clouds
8.
1200-foot-dia. debris field: no ';pancaked'; floors found

Because they are foolish and misinformed . Because they are stupid.
Just how could several thousand demolition charges and the miles and miles of det cord have been placed in each building, without any tenets or WTC security knowing about it ?
Have you ever seen a building being brought down by demolition charges before ?
It takes months and months of gutting the buildings before they can even start to plant the charges and string the det cord.
So when you can come up with a reasonable way all that was done
Get back to us.
But you somehow think that was all done secretly without anyone in the building noticing.
It appears you've answered your own question, hasn't it? Although its a bit odd because I could have sworn I saw video of airplanes crashing into the building and exploding.
FYI: Conspiracy theorists are hardly ever regarded as sexy....and isn't that what we all want to be?
I ran heavy equipment for many years and demolished countless things.
I never saw anything turn to dust as it collapsed.
Not once.

How can I control my LAN network under the following scenario??give me my answer any network engineer on MCSE.
I have downlink of 256kbps and have the server which bear the ip address 192.168.0.1 .and my other client in the LAN has the 192.168.0.2.3.4...... all clients can use internet throught the windows operating system and server, couple of day ago someone know my sever ip address which the other clients use as the default Gatway , as I restart my server there was an IP conflict on the network ,and someone else has keep my server ip address and therefore nobody can use the internet and find my self in very difficult situation.
please tell me any procedure in such a way so that all the clients are in my control I mean they should have to authenticate themselves from the server . please any body me??????How can I control my LAN network under the following scenario??give me my answer any network engineer on MCSE.
You seem to be saying that everyone is using a FIXED (static) IP address on your network, and someone TOOK the gateway address by some sort of idiotic mistake.
Here is what I would do. Start pulling plugs on the patch panel, until the collisions disappear. Even if I pull them all, I would keep going. Then start replacing the patch cables, until the conflict appears again. (I might use PING from a computer to the GATEWAY address, until the suspect computer is plugged back in).
If I was using DHCP, I would eliminate the gateway address from the available list, then reset the router. How can I control my LAN network under the following scenario??give me my answer any network engineer on MCSE.
i hope i will be able to give you a good solution.
to be able to give others access back use a switch (or hub)... connect the server to the switch (with no other connection to the LAN) and after you start the computer you can connect the rest of the LAN. for the server the other computer will be the one that got in after, so you will get a conflict, but the internet connection of the other clients might work.
on long term i have a simple solution for you ... DHCP. with DHCP you can give ip's and default gw to other computers as they change. if you really want to authentificate users you can use vpn's, but this will kill your server's cpu if you have many clients.
First of all check al the system and stop the full access permission.
check who changed his ip address.
warn him
and reset his ip address.

Route all your computers thru a proxy on the server. If you have admin rights to all computers set everyone static and lock the networking by restricting access to admini. This wait they cannot change the IP address for the computer.
http://www.networkingfiles.com/Proxy/Ana鈥?/a>
Look for a rogue wireless access point. Many of them use that IP address for the management interface.
If you don't have too many hosts with static IP addresses such as printers, you could just re-IP the network. Make the server 192.168.108.1 and change the DHCP scope to that network. Have all the clients reboot and they'll be back in business. You'll then have to re-IP any static hosts and reset your print queues but at least you'll be back in business.
If this isn't an option, try this. It will take some time but it will lead you to the machine that's using the server's IP address. Disconnect all patch cables at the switch. Temporarily connect one workstation to it and assign 192.168.0.1 as it's IP address. Connect the patch cords one at a time and restart the temporary workstation. When you get the IP conflict, the last patch cord you connected to the switch is the culprit. Disconnect it, set the temporary workstation back to it's correct IP address and reconnect all of the remaining patch cables and reboot the server. Trace the problem connection back to it's source and resolve the issue there.
Track the person with some tracking software, change his ip to default and ur problem is solved.
The Best way to solve this problem is to use the DHCP protocol that give every one a free IP every time they log to the network
If the users on the client PC got the permission to change the IP address of their NIC is due to the fact that, they are all logging into the client with administrator privilege!!! It s not a big problem for you, you should make the networking based on the windows domain or at least work group. Ideally domain as it is easy to manage network parameters/privileges centrally. Work group, is good if you have very few computers on the LAN. But again, you should downgrade all the users to user level and block the access to the administrator accounts in each client PC. No one would be able to change the IP of your client PC then except you.
Even Microsoft recommends running your PC on a non administrative account due to the facts that while you are running your PC as administrator, viruses and spy wares etc can get installed since only the admin has the install privileges. It is better to run the client PCs as user level

When will scientists and engineers finally create nuclear-fueled mind-controlled cars?
That don't have to be refueled for decades and controlled by your brainwave via brainwave adapted steering and throttle? When will scientists and engineers finally create nuclear-fueled mind-controlled cars?
That won't be easy for a human to make a car controlling via his mind. In that case, engineering automation team might embed chips to the mind of human being but that will be hard to do. All i know is that in the future there will be a flying car in exchange of the land vehicle we are currently using at present. That I think is a possible creation for the coming years. When will scientists and engineers finally create nuclear-fueled mind-controlled cars?
Alternative sources of individual transportation could have been accomplished years ago. The Oil cartels have kept the technology from coming to fruition.
As long as there is a need for their product why would they want sacrifice one of the major uses to see electric cars replacing that of the internal combustion engine? We all know that it is much cleaner and cheaper to develop alternative modes of travel that is not dependent on fuel but again this would have a major impact on the overall income of some major companies involved in the fuel and oil industry.
Not any time soon...that would be to dangerous, nuclear power car. If it gets into an accident there would be a big bang. They might be able to make machine that you can control with your mind within a 100 years.

Won't have that nuclear contamination threat going on then.

If people who oppose birth control can be pharmacists, can Amish people be electrical engineers?
I'm sure they can be in theory.
But in practice it would be a little hard to imageine. :-P No one said they can't read about it and study diagrams...If people who oppose birth control can be pharmacists, can Amish people be electrical engineers?
I just don't know what are you on about! Amish or non Amish, it all depends on intelligence and desire providing the suitable circumstances around them. So anybody can attain a certain level of education depending on what is present infront of them, and believe me according to evolution the intelligence of the human being has not changed much since about 50,000 years that is a cave man providing him what do we have today can attain the same level of education as you!If people who oppose birth control can be pharmacists, can Amish people be electrical engineers?
Yes, but only if they know what they're doing and are willing to do it. I was a vegetarian working in a deli. I cut meat and sold it. Why? Because it was my JOB!
LOL I don't see why they couldn't be.
hahaha. Yes, i suppose they could.....but I sure as heck don't want an 8th grade drop out doing anything involving my electricity
I don't know. Does churning butter require a degree?
Well they could, except going beyond the 8th grade is nearly unheard of in Amish communities.

Do engineers really use their personalities for birth control? I've heard that.?
Is it true that, in general, engineers are known to have the (seriously) worst personalities of all professions? Is it due to the job not requiring much contact with people?
I knew a couple of people in high school that went on to engineering school, and they both were practically social retards. Wuz up with that?
What do engineering schools do for that? Got a plan to fix the freak show?Do engineers really use their personalities for birth control? I've heard that.?
Actually depending on the area of the country some women find engineers to represent a smart and financially attractive mate. Not that we make a lot of money - but it is steady work. I've always liked the nerd aspect and play it up big time. And not everyone can achieve the degree so it is pretty nice ego boost. That and I've always attracted hot women regardless. People skills may be limited generally but it is not like that across the board. Yep! Hotties like engineers - at least the keeper hotties do. The shallow ones will always go for shallow dudes.Do engineers really use their personalities for birth control? I've heard that.?
I personally did a damn good job of enjoying Austin as Mechanical Engineer at UT. Life has been fun and exciting and my wife is smoking hot. Kids will be another year or so. Really though, the stereotype comes from engineers acting as fact based problem solvers. When a girl says she's sad cause her heel broke on her new shoes then the engineer doesn't say ';awww that's so sad, I'm sorry your heel broke'; which is exactly what she wants you to say. No, the engineer says ';that is a tall heel with a narrow base, it's not surprising that it broke given your weight and the variable forces experienced while traversing rough terrain'; In this instance the girl heard, ';duh, your fat'; - Instant birth control.
Took me years to learn commiseration, thank god I'm hot.
First of all, hook em to the previous narcissist.
Engineers have notoriously bad people and communication skills. However, if you are an engineer who has developed these skills - you can quickly rise to the top - using the stereotype to your advantage!
Without stereotyping, often engineers tend to relate to things better than people; while people in the social sciences are not as turned on by mechanical concepts. Still, I went to unnamed engineering school in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was some fine party school. Tho, does the fact that when I went there in the mid 60's, there were over two thousand men and only a dozen women attending tell you anything? Thank goodness, that ratio has changed.applying eyeshadow

Which engineering is better Instrumentation and Controls or Electronics and Instrumentation?
i wanted to study engineering so please advice me which engineering is better Instrumentation and Controls or Electronics and Instrumentation. And which is having good scope in futureWhich engineering is better Instrumentation and Controls or Electronics and Instrumentation?
Hi..If you take electronics..it will be a rundown of all thats involved in instumentation and controls. It would give you a good basis but really it's not a ';specialty'; course. It really just touches on the basic concepts of electricity and how to caculate those in series and parrallel circuits based on AC or DC and componets therein.Circuit troubleshooting follows then you touch on RF and instumentation leading to a choice between robotics or chip technology. If you don't have this basis it would be a breeze through class that would enrich you. If you do..skip it and go on to the other.

How many giant, mind-controlled, genetically engineered evil kangaroos will I need....?
to take over the world.....and what kind of weapons should i give them? How many giant, mind-controlled, genetically engineered evil kangaroos will I need....?
Well i would simply use the equation y=abc+456+def^123
in which a is equal to the number of kangaroos you have, b is the gravitational pull of earth, c is the number of toes you have minus 10, d is the current radial spin of mars, e is the number of fingers you have minus 10, and f is the number of genetically altered brain cells each kangaroo has. It is a pretty simple equation and will tell you exactly how many you will needHow many giant, mind-controlled, genetically engineered evil kangaroos will I need....?
um bout 2435 and laser beams lots and lots of laser beams.Machete's and chainsaws can't hurt but will cost more.Make sure you get a warrenty.
4. And do the world a favor n give 'em nukes.
I'm not sure on the numbers of genetically engineered evil kangaroos it would take , but the best weapon is a TV camera and a microphone !
Only one.
Because humans are so dumb.
Cheese to you.
kangaroo Jack was pretty smart, make him head concho+the rest will follow. The back legs pack a mighty wacking, weapons not needed!
you will nead bout 10 mil
and giv sum p90 it a gun
and sum roucket lounchers
just one, give them never ending batteries.

What does an engineer use for birth control?

Right. An engineer needing birth control? You're implying that an engineer would be *that* close to getting la!d...

ok
Lol... thinking about my brother (who is an engineer) and laughing at how accurate this one is!

What type of engineers build bionic body parts controlled by the brain itself?
Basically, what type of engineers do stuff like this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpOdZB0EPs0%26amp;feature=PlayList%26amp;p=0B92C70B368A3528%26amp;playnext=1%26amp;playnext_from=PL%26amp;index=36
It's probably a combination of Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, and BioMedical Engineering. But which discipline would be more involved in artificial limbs controlled by the brain? What type of engineers build bionic body parts controlled by the brain itself?
The actual fitting of a limb is done by a certified prosthetist and a certified prosthetic technician. both are degree programs.
Nerve impulse controlled arms have been around for a long time with the myoelectric hand.
Each limb is designed to meet the needs and wants of the client ( amputee)
There are a number of components that are commercially available and designed by engineers, and prosthetists and technicians.
Companies like Ossur will sometimes accept product ideas you can submit to them for review. Sometimes many disciplines will work together on a design.
If you're interested in fitting and working with prosthetics I would say look into certified prosthetist degrees in your area.
Technically speaking all prosthetic limbs are controlled by the brainWhat type of engineers build bionic body parts controlled by the brain itself?
Would be classified as biomedical. They have a lot of electrical and mechanical classes that would help them with this kind of stuff. However, most likely, like you said, was a combination because it is pretty involved and an electrical/computer engineer would probably be called in.
But yes, biomedical engineer would be best for this application.
i'm guessing that there will be a whole new branch formed and dedicated to the subject......just like the ones u mentioned, developed as our technology and unnderstanding of the world, life etc... reached a certain point or level...

Electrical engineers: Remote control/automation question?
I have a cabinet with a sliding door and I want to automate it and control it with a remote control.
I figured I could buy a small motor with a cord/pulley connected to the door, and I could probably buy a generic remote somewhere.
Can someone tell me how to make this work or a book or website that can help me out?
I assume I would need a small dc motor that opens the door and reverses current to close the door? Is that right? How would it know when to stop? And what kind of device is used to reverse the current? Or should it be done a completely different way?
I appreciate the help.Electrical engineers: Remote control/automation question?
Hi Robert,
There are several ways to accomplish this task. Using a simple IR transceiver and receiver will suffice for your communication. You should consider using a microcontroller for motor control.
Try looking up a 8-pin PICAXE microcontroller. They are very simple to program and there is a lot of documentation on simple wireless projects like this one.
You could either use a gear system where the motor will move the sliding door open and close by pushing or pulling a chain.
You could use a pulley system as you suggest but it may be more fickle to deal with.
You may also want to consider an actuator system using a dc motor. This is also simple to implement.
Good Luck and Have Fun!!Electrical engineers: Remote control/automation question?
I think your idea is probably a good one, if you look at large scale garage doors that ue as simliar system, some of them are times, or a notch on the belt drive operate as stop switch when the door/belt is in a certain position.
Never built a remotely/radio controlled device or system but i dont think i can be that difficult, perhaps an ifrared system might be better?
A DC motor is a good idea.
Typically, you'd install ';limit switches'; - either contact, optical or magnetic, at the fully closed and fully open positions.
If your remote is 'tethered' - i.e.: a cable - you can put a momentary DPDT switch on the end of the cable. The cable will need 4 conductors. 2 from the battery, 2 to the motor. At the switch, a cross over is done so that one position reverses the current.

Controlled breeding , ,,,Genetic engineering?
compare and contrast the following pairs of terms on the topControlled breeding , ,,,Genetic engineering?
Controlled breeding is used in many cases with championship horse or dog bloodlines to produce a certain kind of desired result (hopefully leading to another champoinship). The pair chosen to mate are selected according to their pedigrees, and often these bloodlines are heavily inbred. This whole process is very uncertain.
Genetic engineering is used on somatic (non-reproductive) cells, eucaryotic cells, bacteria and viruses to get an organism to produce a protein that it does not already produce or to correct a genetic error. It could theoretically be used on reproductive cells as well.

What controls modulus in an engineering material?
When you say ';Modulus';, I need you to be more specific. You probably mean Modulus of Elasticity or Young's Modulus.
This is the ratio of stress to strain. Stress is force per unit area. For example, if you had a hard steel rod with a load of 10,000 pounds of tension and it had a 1'; diameter, the stress is
F/A = 10/(pi*r*r) or 10 / (3.14 * .25) = 12.73 ksi (kips per square inch) or 12,730 psi (pounds per square inch)
If you think about it, putting a specified force a specified size of material, you will always get the same change in length (unless you actually deform the stuff, in which case all bets are off).
The modulus of elasticity (E) for hard steel is 30 x 10^6 psi
E = stress / strain
strain is delta L / L (change in length divided by original length)
If that steel bar was 1 foot (12 inches) long, you can use E to find the ';stretch';
delta L / L = 12730 psi / 30,000,000 psi = .0004243 (unitless)
delta L = .0004243 (12 inches) = .005'; change in length.
This is important because you also have to remember that metals expand and contract when the temperature changes which inherently changes the stresses and strains on important things suich as bridges and buildings.
Long winded but hope it helps!

Do western governments engineer fear and terror to keep their populations in under control?
Sure don't. The Muslim extremists do a good enough job of that on their own.
Tell your buddy Osama to show his face outside his cave in Pakistan, and see what happens!Do western governments engineer fear and terror to keep their populations in under control?
Read George Orwell's 1984 and decide for yourself. Scariest book I ever read.Do western governments engineer fear and terror to keep their populations in under control?
Not many do. I think the USA is the only one, to be perfectly honest.
Yep, just like religion! But religion has a story-book to read from.
Stupid people, religion's for kids!
They do now. They give the illusion that voting helps but its backed up by selecting the people they really want in power
Fear of terror is real.If we do not bring terrorists under control, you will not be able to ask this question again, because they want to destroy everything and everybody.
No one knows for sure, but a lot of conspiracy theorists will say they so, while they're opponents won't address the evidence presented and simply attack them as being nuts. That will be the majority answer. Meanwhile, the rest of us might develop an ulcer over it.
Nope!
a resounding NO!
Without fear, who needs those parasites.
Where do you get the ideas for these Questions? What countries you talking about. I know Iraq use to do that under Saddam but not for over all population control only Kurd control. The Islamic terrorist are doing a good job among their own people with all the killing they are doing to their own people These are the only people I know of who are using war to control the population.
Yes, of course. Most people don't think that we arrived at 1984, but if you read Orwell's magnum opus today, it looks like we were right on schedule.
Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.
You bet. It's an old Illuminati scare tactic used to keep us under control.
No,ALL goverments do.

What are automatic controls in electrical engineering???
In electrical engineering, automatic controls deals with a system that is capable of operating without input from a human. Though this may sound simple, it is quite an effort. It requires the concept of feedback.
Feedback is a closed loop system in which the actions of the system are used by the system to determine the next operation. For example, the system goes off and does something. Some form or type of sensor provides information back into the system's processing unit. From that information, the processing unit has to make decisions, which in term, affects the actions of the system...(Almost the the concept of the chicken and egg)
The problem with feedback loops is the difficulty of processing enough data so that the system can perform its function without being bogged down in the processing of the data.
If it was THAT simple, we would not have to steer and control our cars. We should be able to hop in and let the car do the rest. What are automatic controls in electrical engineering???
anything that monitors and turns on equipment by itselfWhat are automatic controls in electrical engineering???
these are devices attached to a process and act by giving orders under certain conditions. they are automatic for that reason and because they protect and manipulate the process in different conditions.

Mental Health for Engineers, Air Traffic Control , pilots?
Is there any area or type of a psychologist or other end professional that deals specifically with burned out engineers that are in or have left the company due to these issues.
how can a company salvage the talent and help the employee at the same time ?
many fields have issues with high stress level job titles , how are these handled ?Mental Health for Engineers, Air Traffic Control , pilots?
Industrial-Organizational (I/O) psychologists deal with employee functioning within an organization. So, that would be the answer to ';salvage the talent and help the employee at the same time.';
As for dealing with on-the-job stress, this tends to fall more to the EAP (Employee Assistant Person), if the company has one. The person is usually some sort of mental health professional. Otherwise, the person should go to a therapist outside work.
I don't know about air traffic controllers or engineers, but some stressful professions, such as firemen and law enforcement, have at-job access to mental health resources, at least in bigger cities.
